Halloween

On Halloween our class was filled with cartoon characters, video game characters, movie stars, singers, and many more cool characters.

Spirit Week

Monday was Pajama Day.  We were cozy in our jammies.

Tuesday was Sports Day.  We wore our favorite team's colors.

Wack Wednesday was the crazyiest day ever.  Wierd hair, silly clothes, and promice to stay drug free.

 Thursday was Hat Day.

Friday was Orange and Black Day.

We Rock!

Our class is awesome!  We brought in the most coats for the Coats-For-Kids drive.  We donated 22 coats of all sizes to the children of our community.  We also were the top readers during the October Read-A-Thon.  The two first grade classes had the most readers in the whole school!  Great job reading Families! We were also the class that collected the most money for the Read-A-Thon!  Wow!  Our school is a better place because of the hard work of our student and their families.  Thanks familiesfor helping us become better readers.

Remember to Read

Read! Read! Read!
I hope everyone is keeping track of their reading on their STAR Record sheet.  We can earn a class prize from Mrs. Miltenberger if our class has the highest participation.  It only takes 15 minutes of reading each night and you will exceed the goal of 4 hours.

Celebrate With Us

Great Job First Grade!

Our whole class earned a Thumbs-up Charm from Mrs. Thorne for being so awesome during her lesson.

You can earn Foot Charms for participating in Walking Club.  If you walk the track enough times you can earn cool prizes  too.

Table 5 celebrates getting a prize from the treasure box for earning 10 table points.

Thank You Very Much!
Thank you to all the parent helpers who came with us to the Pumpkin Patch.  We wouldn't have had as much fun without you!

BMCC Pumpkin Patch

Pumpkins! Pumpkins! Pumpkins!
It was a beautiful day at BMCC!  As we drove over the rise, a cheer rose up as the students saw the field of orange pumpkins.

We fit two classes on one bus.

The cows were cool.

We stood on the fence looking out at the sheep and horses.

The sheep were lazing around the barn.

We had so many pumpkins that a parent helper had to drive them back to school for us.
